  Well done to Year 6 who took part in a competitive cycling event today against Sale and Days.

   

  the children raced in teams and took part in a cross relay, Italian pursuit and then a girls and boys race.

   

  well done to all the children and we were delighted to see our three teams take fourth, second and first place!

  

• Fundraising sleepover

  Our fundraising sleepover is underway (although there's little sign of sleep!)

  

• Movie night for India

  Miss. Brown and Jackie organised an ran a very successful movie night to support our Indian links.

   

  73 children (two thirds of the school!) stayed for the film (and to wolf down popcorn and juice!).

   

  This meant that the children raised over 200 pounds. Thank you!

  

• British Cycle coaching

  The children in Year 6 enjoyed their first session of competitive cycle coaching today which was led by British Cycling. 

   

  British Cycling will be in over the next four weeks before our first cycle races.
