• Pancake races

  All of the children took part in our annual pancake races this morning. 

   

  The children raced and competed against other children in their year groups and represented their house group.

   

  It was a close battle but after 7 races, one for each year group, the blue house were victorious. Well done blue house!

  

• Our new Christian Value for Life: Wisdom

  This term all of the children and adults in school are exploring the Christian value of wisdom.

   

  This week the children have been thinking about who is wise whilst the older children have been considering what the difference is between wisdom and knowledge.

• Staying safe and happy

  Today we were visited by the staff from Childline and from the NSPCC.

   

  The trained staff led separate assemblies for the juniors (Years 3 - 6) and for the younger children (in Early Years, year 1 and 2).

   

  Several staff then worked with the children in Year 6 looking at how to stay safe and happy. 

   

  It was lovely to see the children explain how they could keep safe and who they could talk to if necessary.
