  • Young Voices

    Sat 28 Jan 2017 Mr. O'Connell

Our school choir greatly enjoyed taking part in the 'Young Voices' show last week. They joined 6,500 primary school children when they sang at the Genting Arena in Birmingham.

The choir was led by Miss. Brown and by Jackie. Many parents also travelled down to Birmingham to enjoy the event.

You can see several photos below but more are available on the school bloghttps://westoncofe.wordpress.com

    - Rehearsal is over!

    - We have arrived

    - We are ready!

The choir were given a big round of applause when we heard about their adventures in Collective Worship on Friday. It looks like a lot more children want to join for next year. smiley

Well done Miss. Brown, Jackie and all of our wonderful children.

  • Our new Christian Value for Life

    Tue 03 Jan 2017 Mr. O'Connell

Welcome back and a Happy New Year to one and all.

This term the focus of our Collective Worship is the value of responsibility. Over the next 6 weeks, the children will be exploring and hearing from the book of Proverbs and James as they reflect and lean about responsibility.

Today, we started by considering how we could be more responsible and we set New Year's Resolutions. I'm looking forward to seeing how many children stick to them when we review them before half term!
