• Whole school picture.

  We are making a whole school picture to remind ourselves that we are team and about the behaviour we need from all members of the school community if we are going to thrive. Every child in the school has contributed in some way.

  The sunshine represents the fact that we create the atmosphere in our school according to how we behave (make the weather).

  The bees represent self-belief and ambition because, apparently, bees shouldn't be able to fly if you look at the relationship between their wing and body size.

  The ants are a reminder that we need to be busy doing the right things.

  

• Sport Surveys.

  Some of our after school clubs are bursting at the seams (Choir and Forest Rangers) but sports clubs tend not to be so well attended.

  We are trying to increase the take-up and have been running surveys of parents' and children's views so that we can run clubs that the children will attend and enjoy.

  There will be a chance to voice your opinion at Meet the Teacher tonight.

  

• Golden Tokens.

  All the children are trying to earn golden tokens by making good choices and working hard. The 4 houses are in a competition to earn the most tokens and to get a treat for doing so. Treats are things like extra play, a disco or a non uniform day.

  We will keep you updated on how the houses are performing so that you can see how your child's house is doing and encourage him or her to earn the all important tokens!
