Using our phonics to write words and sentences

This half-term, we have been working on using our phonics knowledge to write words and sentences.

We started our literacy unit by learning about the journey of a letter. We sequenced the journey and wrote sentences about each step.

Here is some more of our phonics application practice.

We read the story 'Little Red Riding Hood' and did some writing about the story. Here is an example of a wanted poster we made.

In honour of Pancake Day, we read 'Mr Wolf's Pancakes' and made an ingredient list for Mr Wolf. Then, we made our own pancakes!
