At Weston on Trent, following consultation with parents, we provide wrap-around care in the form of a multi-activity club. The activities run from 7.30 in the morning and until 5.30pm in the afternoon. This provision is provided by a professional coach from the YMCA. The children get fantastic continuity because the coach for the wrap-around care is usually the one who supports lunch time sport and delivers some of our PE lessons.

YMCA Y-Kidz is part of YMCA Derbyshire, our services include:

► Delivery of structured, supported accommodation for 196 individuals each night.  Our belief is that stable accommodation and a journey that is person centred will assist individuals in moving forward. We are proud that our support enables individuals to progress along a positive pathway in to training, education, employment and on to independent living.

► YMCA Key College through which we provide a whole host of vocational training courses, and specialist school services for young people aged 16-18 and up to 24 in some instances. Often our students have significant and complex needs and are supported by a team of highly qualified and dedicated tutors and through small class sizes, individualised student plans, flexible learning styles and relaxed environments. Students leave YMCA Key College ready for employment; we focus young minds and move them towards independence.

► Various hospitality services including running two community cafes, providing buffets for meetings and events, catering large scale events and hiring out conference facilities to suit most business needs.

So by using our YMCA Y-Kidz provision you will in turn be enabling YMCA Derbyshire to continue changing the lives of those most in need.
