Competitive Cycling

All of the children in Year 6 are undertaking competitive cycling training led by a coach from British Cycling.

Children in Year 6 spend 4 mornings working with their coach learning how to cycle, take part in cycling events and tactics (including pacing, working in a line and riding skills).

At the end of the training the children compete against themselves and children from another school to see who are the fastest, nimblest cyclists as well as to see who has makes the best team.
