This half-term, we started with a poem. We learnt to perform 'Call the Vet' by Paul Cookson.
Then, we had a go at writing our own stanza, following the same pattern.

We had some mysterious beans arrive in our classroom. We planted them and it grow into a giant beanstalk! We learnt how the story has a beginning, middle and end. Soon, then told our own version of the story with different characters.
We have been practising applying our phonics knowledge to write about what our elf has been up to in our class.
