Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Our children are amazing, and we want the best for them and for them to really feel part of their school. We are in the process of reviewing the school’s vision statement and aims to make them more child-friendly. This will be worked on as a staff during the INSET day at the start of July. We would like to invite the children and their parents to be involved in renewing the school’s vision and future priorities and will hold meetings to facilitate this. The meetings for parents will be Monday, July 8th straight after school and Thursday, July 11th at 6pm; the children will be consulted during Collective Worship.
The children are continuing to make us proud in various ways. For instance, I hope that you are seeing the Always Club members each week on the blog and the display in school. This week, a senior school improvement officer visited school. He was delighted by what he found and said that the children’s books were: ‘the best books the HOSI (Head of school improvement) has seen in a school’ with pupils taking ‘an immense amount of pride in their work’ and that the ‘pupils participate fully in a range of exciting and engaging learning tasks’.
