The children were learning about British Values last half term and can hopefully use their hand to help them to recall the five values. (Please see the picture below).
We have also had a couple of examples of democracy in action in school.
Firstly, the children voted to select the name of the new class; they selected the name of Starlings for the sixth class, which will be in place from September.
Also, our youngest children all suggested names for the chicks that they watched hatch in school. They then selected ten names which included Nice Chick and Dave!
