The term so far.

We have been happy to welcome the new children and adults to school and they have all settled in very well. The atmosphere around school is calm and purposeful and the children came back ready to learn.

The launch of the new vision is going really well and all the children can hopefully tell you what the acronym STAR means in school. Some children have already been very happy to receive the new awards.

The ‘respect’ award has been given out the most I’m pleased to say, since this is something which we are really working on in school. The children are being encouraged to respect the school and wider environment as well as other people. Each house has a challenge to try to contribute to the care of the school and grounds, for instance one house will be working to help us to waste less electricity.

Lots of children have had their names in the draw for the Always Club on a Friday already and the club has met twice so far.

All the children hopefully know which house they are in, so far red house has collected the most golden tokens for good behaviour.
