RE
As a Church School, Religious Education (RE) holds a special place in the curriculum at Weston-on-Trent as it allows our children to think about the 'big questions' in life.
Our RE curriculum is based upon the Derbyshire agreed syllabus.
During their time at Weston-on-Trent Primary, our children explore:
- Christianity, using the Church of England's 'Understanding Christianity' materials.
- Hinduism
- Islam
- Sikhism
We hold daily acts of collective worship with varied content to explore big ideas and concepts starting with our Call to Worship, followed by a gather, reflect, respond and sending. We then end with our School Blessing.
