Safeguarding

Keeping children safe is our number one priority at Weston-on-Trent C. of E. (Aided) Primary School.

Our safeguarding arrangements at are underpinned by three key principles:

- Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility: all Staff, Governors and Volunteers play their full part in keeping our children safe.

- Weston-on-Trent C. of E. (Aided) Primary School operates a child-centred approach: a clear understanding of the needs, wishes, views and voices of children.

- All Staff, Governors and Volunteers have a clear understanding regarding abuse and neglect in all forms; including how to identify, respond and report.

The school's Headteacher, Mark Hibbert, is the Designated Safeguarding Lead. If you have any concerns please contact him. If he is not available, Amy Melland and Martin Stephens are the Deputy Safeguarding Leads.

If you wish to find our Safeguarding Policy, it can be found on our Policies page or the link here: Safeguarding Child Protection Policy
