The Derby Diocese's Board of Education has been working hard to develop links with schools in Kolkata mainly overseen by the Cathedral Relief Service in Kolkata.
Several schools in Derby City and Derbyshire have already participated in reciprocal visits with schools in Kolkata. All of the Church Schools in Derby Diocese(including ourselves) are able to make a real difference to the education of children attending schools in Kolkata by participating in what we are calling the Kolkata Challenge.
Together we can make a difference.
Staff from our school visited India in January 2017 and January 2018. We continue to support the initiative by raising funds for the schools in India.
