Make me a superhero
This is a more creative challenge to help build your child confidence and to make them feel good about themselves. Start by encouraging your child to draw themselves a superhero. You may need to draw the basic outline for younger children. Next ask your child what makes them a superhero. You need to encourage them to talk about their skills and abilities now rather than a traditional superhero’s powers. For example, your child could say they are a quick learner, can run fast, they may be able to jump high or be really caring. You or your child could write these things around the drawing or you could just discuss them. The aim is to build your child’s confidence and inner strength by making them feel like a superhero just as they are.
We would love to see your drawings!
